Team Ratings
The NSSA has
launched a
rating
system to
help teams
determine
how they
rate
relative to
other step

the
country.

The NSSA
universal
scoring
system is
used at NSSA

teams can
prepare for
a single set
of judging
criteria,
regardless
of where the
event is
held! Only
NSSA member
teams
participating
in NSSA
sponsored
shows will
be able to
be rated.
Once your
score is
posted you
should check
back on a

“Childhood obesity is a growing problem, especially in the African American community. Stepping is a wonderful, culturally relevant aerobic workout. Many of these kids step better than I did when I was on my fraternity’s step team in college.”
William Lawrence, MD
NSSA Board Member & Pediatrician
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
NSSA Chartered leagues competitions and activities are managed under with national program guidelines established by the Alliance. The league structure also allows for supporting stepping’s ability to keep kids physically active and reward academic achievement.
