Membership |
Membership is open to individuals and groups. The NSSA membership year is September through August. NSSA records – such as highest score or highest attendance – are kept on this “step year” calendar.
With either membership – new or renewal – you receive the NSSA’s Official Rules of Stepping, which is in the guidebook. Members receive preferred slotting for NSSA sponsored or sanctioned events. The demand for performance spots at events such as the Music City Step Fest has meant for the past 3 years only NSSA member teams have been selected.
Individual membership is for individuals who want to serve as judges, but are not affiliated with a youth or Greek step team. Members, both individual and team types, receive discounts on publications, conference registrations, and stepping workshops.

forum provides an
opportunity for
college
administrators (i.e.
Directors of Greek
Life) and college
student
participation to
network and share
information about
stepping at the
