Judge Certification
The NSSA certification for judges is designed to ensure consistency for step show events. Historically one has been considered “qualified” to judge a step show simply by having an NPHC Greek affiliation or prior step experience. The NSSA has developed a training workshop designed to highlight the nuances needed for an individual to be able to capability and objectively judge a team’s step routine.

The NSSA requires judges to keep up to date by continuing to take classes to ensure they are familiar with the latest rules and step team requirements.
