Stepping started
within the college
experience in the
1940s, so it is
natural for the NSSA
to develop
programming designed
strengthen stepping
at the collegiate
level. Over the
past two years the
NSSA has worked with
administrators and
students at Belmont
University, Fisk
University, MTSU,
Northwestern
University,
Tennessee State
University,
Vanderbilt
University and
Western Kentucky
University.
The NSSA will launch
team ratings for the
college segment,
with teams competing
in sanctioned events
having the
opportunity to gain
national ratings.
